What Affects Your Dog Boarding Cost?
Your dog boarding cost depends on five things: the accommodation, how many dogs share a space, holiday dates, your pickup time and any extras. The calculator factors in each one for you.
Accommodation Type
Standard Runs are the most affordable option, while Luxury Lodging suites cost more and include extra amenities. You can compare both in the calculator and on our Ogden dog boarding page.
Dogs Sharing a Run
Dogs from the same home that share a run or suite cost less per dog. The first dog pays the full rate and each additional dog pays a lower shared rate. Dogs staying in separate spaces each pay the full rate.
Holiday Dates
Boarding stays over major holidays carry a surcharge of $4.50 per pet, per day. This applies to dog and cat boarding, never to daycare. Holiday periods include:
- Thanksgiving
- Christmas
- New Year’s
- Easter
- Memorial Day
- Fourth of July
- Labor Day
Holiday periods can include the days around each holiday. The calculator flags holiday days automatically once you pick your dates, so you don’t need to check a calendar.
Departure Day
You are not charged for your departure day when you pick up by noon. The calculator counts your billable days based on this rule.
Extras
Activities and baths add to your total. Options include All Day Play Rotation, one-on-one Fun Time, Group Play, Extra Take Out and a departure bath priced by your dog’s size.
How Is Dog Daycare Priced?
Dog daycare is priced per dog, per day. Daycare dogs play in structured, supervised groups of five to seven, matched by size and temperament.

How Is Cat Boarding Priced?
