We are a growing Pet Care Facility that serves Ogden and surrounding areas. We are in search of a positive upbeat person that is able to multi task in a fast pace environment with dogs and cats!
Pay
Starting at $12.50 – $13.00/hour depending on experience.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greeting guests in person to the facility
- Creating, editing and resolving reservations
- Making reservations
- Check in and check out our furry guests using reservation system
- Scheduling and coordinating for boarding and grooming appointments
- Answering phones
- Cross train in areas to further your knowledge of the facility
- Handling dogs and cats
- Cleaning and maintaining retail space
- Handling payment and balancing register
- Selling retail products and becoming knowledgeable on foods
- Assisting customers in their decisions of products sold at Idlewire Pet Care
- Promoting safety for all pets and staff
- Promoting efficient business operations while keeping the customers needs first
- Providing excellent customer service to be sure each visit is a positive experience

We are in search of an enthusiastic, positive, focused employee who loves animals! An Animal Care Giver is responsible for the care of our dog and cat guests. Daily duties will include: direct care of dogs and cats, feeding, administering needed medications, handling dogs and cats, assist in checking boarded guests in and out, cleaning up kennels and grounds, bathing, walking and playing with pets, keep working area clean and organized, accurately assess the health of boarded guests, follow daily procedures and checklists, possible cross training in other departments, perform other functions as deemed necessary or as assigned. Background and drug test required.
Schedule
You’ll need to be available 7days/wk including holidays usually between 7:00 am – 6:30 pm. You will be scheduled up to 5 of these days.
Pay
After training (typically one month) and evaluation, wage will be increased and the cumulative wage, including tips, would range from $14.00 – $15.50/hour. Holiday and overtime (over 40 hrs/wk) pay is at time and a half.

Job Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to handle any dog or cat deemed board-able by management
- Be undeterred by harsh weather as well as kennel environment (heat, cold, noise, smell, etc.)
- Ability to lift and control 50 pounds
- Ability to handle large/energetic dogs
- Exercise proper judgment (how and when to react)
- Operate Computer
- Read, write and communicate effectively
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in an emergency, even if not scheduled
- Arrive to work on time and ready
- Maintain appearance and adhere to dress code policy
- This is a (part time/full time) position
Established, family owned grooming salon and pet care facility. We are looking to talk with animal lovers interested in conscientious, high quality grooming while providing exceptional customer service to all our furry and human guests! Morning and afternoon shifts are available!
W2 position with competitive wages/tips while keeping a full book of appointments year-round. Receptionists are provided to book appointments, call customers, input customer info/vaccinations.

Approach and handling, nails and ears, rough out, bath and dry, brushing and combing, breeds and patterns, scissoring, clipper vac use required and provided.
Groomers approach to all aspects of the work needs to be conscientious, cheerful and optimistic. Groomer must adhere strictly to all other policies and guidelines of the company.
Should demonstrate continual eagerness for the work as well as the highest level of professionalism with customers, clients and team members. Must be upbeat and work well in team environment.
This job is conducted primarily on mountain trails.
Schedule:
Shifts range from 4-8 hours in length between 7:45 am and 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. Applicants must be available 5 days/wk. and be willing to work in all weather conditions as this is an outside adventure activity.
Pay:
The wage is $12.50 – $13.00/hour depending on experience.

Dog Handler Job Requirements
- Have a driver’s license or be able to attain license in the next 6 months
- Be punctual
- Be a self-starter
- Be detail oriented
- Follow and respond well to verbal and written instructions
- Work with energy and purpose
- Remain upbeat
- Handle large rowdy dogs
- Perform consistently at Idlewire standards.
- Work in an emergency – even if not scheduled.
- Be undeterred by harsh weather
- Consistently give instructed commands to dogs while handling
- Exercise proper judgement (how and when to react).
- Assist in van maintenance.
- Assist checking dogs in and out.
- Operate computer.
- Physically and mentally be able to do the job (handle up to four large dogs in all seasons).
- Performance should not be affected by personal life.
- Be trustworthy.
- Read, write, & communicate effectively.
- Do Idlewire’s equivalency of a boarding bath.
- Undergo any training deemed necessary.
- Arrive to work on time and ready.
- Maintain appearance and dress according to policy.
